Class 2 – Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday Classes

Hello Mass Media Classes,

Welcome to the class and the Spring 13 semester. I hope you enjoyed the first class, you’re going to be amazed at how quickly things fly by in this class. Especially, once we get a flow and groove going. I look forward to the semester, hope you do as well.

Onto the work:

1. You should have received a Welcome email from your TA by now. Thursday will get theirs on Friday. In it, you should have also received which film you will be working on for the week’s subject.

If you have not received an email from your TA, please email me by Saturday.

2. Here are all the class documents — remember, if you can’t make a class, you can make up for it on the other sections. Just be sure to check the syllabus for that class BEFOREHAND. Class may be canceled or a different lecture, etc.

3. For our next class:

Read Chapters 1 & 2, plus read the Blog Project assignment and be prepared to discuss. I will be answering questions but please make sure you read it over so you’re not asking questions that are already answered.

4. Those who are working on Bowling for Columbine — if you’re unsure of what to do AFTER you read the document, please email me. But it’s pretty much on there. If you haven’t emailed me to get your copy, please do so ASAP.

5. If you have any questions — contact your TA, but if you need to meet with me, email me at profdunphy@gmail.com to meet within my office hours and I will respond back.

I will happily discuss it with you– HOWEVER, with that being said, make sure you know all your grades plus anything else and be sure to email that to me. So, be careful because what if i was nice and decided to not be nice anymore 🙂

As an addition: I have over 160 of you — I’m not perfect, so I may have truly made a mistake. Even if I make 4 mistakes, that’s a 98.5% correct rate. I’ll take it, ya know?
